Inaugural IDNebraska Meeting

The first annual meeting will be on September 10th from 730AM to 1PM at the Thompson Alumni Center in Omaha and is available in both a live virtual and in-person format and is open to healthcare professionals and trainees working within, or interested in, infectious diseases. The full agenda will be released soon, but will include speakers and panels covering key infectious diseases topics impacting Nebraska, including updates on Monkeypox, COVID-19 updates, vector-borne infections in Nebraska, and more. A business meeting for the society will end the day, so we encourage active members to attend entire meeting. Registration closes on August 31, 2022. Trainees may submit 250 word (text only) case or research abstracts to be reviewed for potential presentation with 5-10 minute powerpoint presentations. Abstracts should be sent to hello@idnebraska.org by August 24, 2022 at 5PM CST and all those submitting should be available on the date of the meeting. Presenters will be notified no later than August 29th of acceptance and registration details.

Additionally, we will host an optional outdoor social event the evening of September 9th at Soaring Wings with doors opening at 6pm, music from 700PM - 930PM. Registration and payment for this event are completed separately, please see the registration for more details.
