3rd Annual Meeting

On behalf of the Nebraska Infectious Diseases Society, I would like to announce our 3rd annual meeting being held August 23, 2024. We will be continuing our tradition of supporting a trainee abstract competition during the meeting. New this year: multiple shorter poster judging sessions throughout the meeting. 

Last year we hosted 16 students, residents, and fellows presenting their case reports and research. This is a perfect opportunity to submit a new clinical case or scholarly project, or present work submitted to a national conference (and get some feedback about presentation before time to present on the national stage!). Submissions are welcomed from medical and pharmacy students, residents, and fellows. Two abstracts will be selected for oral presentation, and the best poster presentations in the research and clinical vignette categories will receive special recognition. The presenting author will receive complimentary registration to the meeting. The submission link below has information about abstract guidelines and requirements.
